Wicked Stawm Comin'!?$&
An impressive early winter storm moved into the Aspen area on Tuesday, Nov. 11, and with any luck — the NWS has issued a Winter Storm Warning through Saturday night — this one may leave a mark.
So, we've got that going for us. The timing, it turns, is quite good, and just one week ago the infamous Aspen Highlands bootpacking crew started stomping around in the high lonesome zones of Highland Bowl. We are also hearing reports of decent — and rapidly improving — skiing conditions on the higher-elevation slopes of Aspen Highlands.
We're still a few weeks away from the official opening of ski season here in Aspen, but for the intrepid, it may be primetime for some skin-to-win missions pre-Thanksgiving. Enjoy!
